About the 72E that has been sitting on on Carsales for some time. Curiosity got the better of me, last week, so I rang up about it.

After initially telling me that the car was "matching numbers", I received this, this morning-

"After checking its authenticity further with Porsche, the car is genuine Aus’ delivered however no longer has its original engine.
I can completely understand if this affects the purchase.

That's funny, when i enquired back in march, they gave me 2 different engine numbers, the first non matching, the second was correct. He assured me the correct one was in the car.. i ran a mile
