We did a great job mechanically but when I sold it body work
was still needed.
I am led to believe work has been done in that area but don’t know the extent or the quality.
It never had recaro seats originally as it was a UK carClyde Boyer

..the same car as in my avatar..... was Mexico blue when I had it between 1980 and 83. I purchased it from club member Gary Parnaby and Clyde purchased it from former club member James Newton. So it's been in the ownership of four TYP901 members...the small world of early 911s.
I purchased it for $12k and sold it for $13.5kPeter Williams #049

I thought that this was my old car. Purchased in 1976 for $8400. Chose this car over a Dino 246 for sale at Brents Sportcars for $12000! Was imported to Oz by a commercial pilot around 1974 (a bit more than over 10 years ago). I bought it from a young bloke in Ringwood. The original red paint was so badly oxidised so when i washed it, I needed to polish it regularly. Riddled with rust in the sills and Ken Foo City Panels supposedly removed all the rust. Engine rebuild was carried out by George Cairns around 1978. Who would have thought 41 years later that this car would be so rare!Gary P
