    65 on Carsales

Did anyone on the forum see the 65 911 on Carsales for $125k? It was on last night and now disappeared from Carsales. It was a LHD in original condition except had an engine swap during its life. Anyone from the forum buy it?

I saw it Peter. Looked like a tidy car. And good value at $125k.

It was a nice early chassis number.
Front and rear wheel arches had been flared, colour and engine swap, but the pictures seemed to show that it could have been good buying.

I actually thought it was a scam at first, seemed cheap even after considering its flaws. Next day i thought i should take another look at this and it was gone

maybe he realised it was too cheap when his phone didn’t stop ringing and took it off Carsales.

The 68T engine swap is a reasonably big deal for its value despite the early chassis number, Finding the original engine would be a real headache if its still in the USA.
