WOW thats getting up there. I'd be wanting to see evidence of the extensive restoration.
At that price youd not want to be havng to do anything other than to drive it and enjoy it.
I wish them well with the sale - but for context you have the other yellow 2.4E Targa (LHD) that has been for sale for some time.
And its half the price.....

Yeah I bet that made Clyde weep when he saw the asking price because compared to his 73 911S targa, it doesnt even look close to the quality or resto Clyde did.
But I guess times have changed a lot since then........

from information i got from Porsche Australia in 1990:
In'73 there were:
26 x 911T, 50 x 911E , 15 x 911S plus 6 x 2.7RS plus 2x 2.8RSR sold in Australia and NZ.
Of that:
1) 8/50 where 911E Targa 5 spd
2] 4/15 where 911s Targa 5 spd.

Looked closely at the pics online so many errors........
Start with the carpet and the wrong rubber ribbing on the drivers side and the missing rubber piece on the tunnel at the front
Engine mounts and washers not black and washers upside down.
MFI flapper box missing completely including brackets.
No black paint along the bottom of the sill.
and that's just what I can see in a pretty poor selection of pics
