This is an interesting one....the suggestion it's an Irish Green soft window targa with an "S" engine sounds like a good project for someone. Sadly I fear due diligence may lead to disappointment....ha haMatt Read

SWT stopped being 'standard' in 68 with the hard version being the default. You could still order a soft window up until the factory ran out of stock... So I believe that the car could well have been delivered with a soft window.
It's a valuable Frankenporsche. If the engine/gearbox is genuine S then it's a $25k combo. The converted targa chassis not so much, unless someone really wanted a SWT E. If it was already restored back to its early longnose configuration, it's probably priced right for a weekend hotrod with a cool powertrain. If you knew you could reunite the 69S engine/box with it's chassis, then who knows...John Forcier

Numbers check out fine 69 E chassis Targa
S engine with MFI is correct if number is untampered and gearbox is one of the 2 options also.
I would be asking what MFI pump it has on it should end in 005
So who wants a 69E Targa with S running gear project.?Clyde Boyer
