2.7 MFI Engine

I was recently offered a 2.7 MFI RS spec engine. It was apparently built some time ago by someone who bought the majority of parts from Porsche including new MFI pump, unstamped 7R case etc etc….put together by Louie Gossis (SP?) I think from memory.

Owned by a well know Porsche chap in Vic.

I'm going to pass but happy to put you in touch with the owner if it is of interest. Just a note, he is trying to buy the matching no engine for his car so unless that deal comes off it won't be sold. Bit of a catch 22 scenario but there you go...

I was lucky enough to spend a few hours with the owner, a nice bloke. I hadn't experienced an MFI engine being spanked a little bit. either...........and a great sound it is, and very perky as well.
