    72T survivor FS in California

For all those lookers out there hoping to still pick up a 'bargain' early 911 out of the USA, check this out:

Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for Porsche : 911 911T at the best online prices at eBay! Free shipping for many products!

At this price (US$65K) it's around A$100K landed out here with freight, GST and duty paid.

Any affordable 901 cars in reasonable condition have been snapped up by euro buyers some time ago. Local buyers here in Australia need to be reaslistic on what is now required to own a good, unmolsted 901 in fair condition.

Some buyers I know are now only focusing on G series cars as still being within their price range.

      Lose the pin stripes ...

That looks like bondo in the door base? Still seems a decent car for investment.

Yeah I agree on the pinstripes but the rest of the car looks OK and original.

Just highlighting whats out there and whats being asked $$-wise.

i'd argue it isn't a survivor after a "no holds barred mechanical rehab"

          and a potential respray...

...and it has a blank no number engine case?

          survivor???

great grandpa's axe and all that...

Yeah, it's survived a repaint, new engine and what appears to be some rust

$ wise this would be a better bet?

1971 Tangerine 911T - Numbers matching original Texas car loved and restored over a 5 year period of time with some sensible upgrades to enhance performance w/o detracting from it's collectability. Lots of $$$$$ spent over the years to restore/maintain it at what most would consider to be beyond 'driver quality'... at, or near, show. Chassis number 9111102551 and engine number 6118001. Superb, original Tangerine/#2323 color, re-paint with photo documentation on a rust free T
