1968 911L for sale at Autohaus Hamilton

This would look great in its original slate grey and trim...

Ticks a lot of boxes, be surprised if it lasts more than a week or two at an entry level price.

Looks outstanding value, even with the Sporto. Makes much better sense than many of the cars we see here now. And an early car too.

        Opportunity

That's the best car with the best potential - on face value without a rust check- that's been offered for a while. There's money to spend but it'll be very nice.....

I stand to be corrected, but I think that's one of 7 delivered to Australia. Justin Reed's metallic green car is the only other I've seen.

I know the car - an honest useable car now.... A NSW car for some time now.

I've known the car since the mid 90's... and was led to believe it might have been a tourist delivery.... but could be wrong. Lots of stories become self fulfilling prophecies down through the years.

Other than mine, and this, I know of one other tangerine car in Melbourne... and possibly one that is lurking somewhere in NSW.

My late father drove a burgundy car in Jan 68 when he was down following the Tasman Series... it was a sporto L. I wonder if that still survives too?

Such a sweet original colour combo... Hard not to imagine it being a $150k car once sorted!

Someone is getting a nice car. The seats are a bit garish but the car looks very well priced for the purchaser. I suspect that Sportos left in their original spec., will be as valuable as manuals soon.
