I know the car - an honest useable car now.... A NSW car for some time now.
I've known the car since the mid 90's... and was led to believe it might have been a tourist delivery.... but could be wrong. Lots of stories become self fulfilling prophecies down through the years.
Other than mine, and this, I know of one other tangerine car in Melbourne... and possibly one that is lurking somewhere in NSW.
My late father drove a burgundy car in Jan 68 when he was down following the Tasman Series... it was a sporto L. I wonder if that still survives too?Justin Reed
