Then all you need is a 911R to bolt them onto:

              Add another US$3.5M.

repro 7r's are available in the UK ... I looked at them when I was doing my car, but decided to restore my current wheels instead. About 1800 quid from memory.

They looked the business, and you wouldn't have to worry - as they are made with new materials .... they aren't 50 years old and possibly cracked.

They are cheap wheels for a $3.5m car!

                    Hi Justin,
Spot on - Group 4 Wheels in the UK have them (and replica deep 6's) for about 400 quid each plus shipping.

                    They look very nice indeed.
So the Deep 6's / 7's will fit front / rear on a '68 SWB without rubbing correct?
                    Ben.

                      Not necessarily

The 7R wheel was designed for the 911R and TR derivatives and generally they flared their rear guards a little. The SWB cars are notorious for great variation and asymmetry... Sometimes one wheel will fit without rubbing, but the opposite one will. You'll get them to fit, but pay attention to tyre brand/size /shape and use some negative camber.

                        Thanks John.

So maybe deep 6's all around is a safer bet?

                        Ben.
