        How many were delivered by year during the 65-69 period Stewart? I don't think we've got much in the references section on 912, so it'd be good to know more.

          I can't help with figures for the whole period, but the first batch of RHD 912 cars to Australia was on 3rd December 1965 and numbered 5 cars.

            I've got stuck in my head less total numbers than equivalent year 911's

            I know of two 65's in Canberra , one is in Sydney. mr fryer you have one.. Where's the other?

              65 I can understand the 912's being out numbered. The 911 was all new and a quantum leap for the brand.

              66 -69 - I reckon it would have been 50/50, as the dealers would have realized by early 66 that the price gap between the outgoing 356C and SC and the incoming 911's meant that they needed more entry level cars to keep the customers visiting the dealerships.

              I know of quite a lot of cars in 70's and early 80's were converted into 911's.... at least in Sydney.

                Oh yeh there was a third 65 912 in Canberra - I know where it is, so I can account for its whereabouts
