    New Highwater Mark In Absurdity

The asking price says it all.

That is a guy on PFA.
Trying to liquidate that car and a couple of others.
    Absurd I agree.
He paid $72K at Shannons auction if I recall correctly.

Jesus. The $70k he paid was too much for a plain vanilla 75 911.

I wasn't even going to mention the colour! It's the BASE model from 75. Yes it's in nice nick, but it's not an exceptional or rare air cooled 911. I'm not a buyer so I should say no more.

It's actually not the base model, my '75 Targa is the base model, being just a 911, the yellow car is actually an S (for all that that is worth)
On that basis I will accept offers @ around 75% for mine.

He also has the 3.2 for sale potentially that I recall was from Melbourne if anyone is chasing a 3.2 - I recall it being a members car from here

                      It's listed as a 4 speed - so you're getting a serious discount - if it was a 5 speed he'd therefore have to be asking $ 162,500....

If its the same car, didn't RSR sell it also earlier this year.

Could be sold 4x in one year.

No same owner who purchased it at Shannon's several months ago
