        a '70T is worth $220k?!?!?

and the chassis number is odd for a '70?

i wonder if this info is old due to the speed at which these cars turn over now

11800402 is a 68 S sporto (not 67 as in the ad) and was the car Phil restored (ex Erwin for those with a long memory) and I thought had sold but i would be surprised if it went for close to $500K

11910018 is the 69T (not 70 as in the ad) that Terry sold earlier this year and generated lots of posts on the board, then was at Duttons in May (maybe twice?) $220 is MUCH more than it went for originally

9112201109 is a 72 E (not 73) it used to be registered LDH911 - again amazing money being asked for a 72E (i have not seen that one for sale since 2012 but maybe it also was available and then sold well before the magazine was available)

Yes the Bahama Yellow car is my old 68S. Its a late 67 build and coupled with the other comments, shows just how much the seller knows about these cars. Neglected to mention the 68S was an original Aussie delivery RHD - which would be desirable in the UK. There were no 'original books' with this car other than Sporto manual and a reprint owners manual.

Will be interesting to follow what happens to these cars over next few months.

And Lorbek is only selling these on behalf of someone else.

Yes the 68S (not a 67) does not come with any of the original books. That's my old car (I owned it before Erwin) the sporto manual is also not original to the car (ebay purchase for $18).
As the saying goes 'I wish I never sold that car' .... would be interesting to see if it sells for that kind of money..

One month ago they had this stock - and another MFI car. All were very close to 20% less in the quoted range than the new numbers.

And they said the difference between D----N and them was they own ALL their cars.

I assume Phil is correct anyway...

If Lorbek or any prospective owner is interested I can provide a series of photos of the car just after Erwin last drove it........

Always good to have a comprehensive history file.

I am sure they don't own any of those cars unless the guy buying them all (same guy) is using Lorbek money
