I did a search today for 225k cars pre 1980 & was interested to note that 5 of the 20 most expensive cars were Porsche & you can now buy a genuine GTHO or Shelby mustang for considerably less than an early Porsche.

Unfortunately Porsche fever doesn't seem limited to early cars with stupid money now being asked for 993TT's, GT2's & GT3's. I've been offered a fat profit on my GT3 but refuse to see it rolled into a heated garage to sit amongst a bunch of unused "investments".

IMHO I don't think prices will drop back dramatically (in the absence of another GFC) but don't think there is too much upside left either....hopefully will flatline for the next 10-15 years while we all catch up.

    Cheers
    Matt Read
