an exceptionally detailed road-going recreation of that dominating legend, the number 8 911 RSR.
the concept was to produce a car that is as close to the #8 Martini as possible, yet well-heeled and exciting to drive on the road as well.
That meant coil overs, metal RSR guards, RSR bumpers front and rear, a fiberglass ducktail, custom Fuchs wheels, RSR brakes, Martini stripes, period decals and of course, air-conditioning.Craig

This was being built by zags when my L was being refurbished....
And I know the current owner....
Its beautifully done, and a real weapon by all accounts with a 993 motor.
Yes its a replica but it was faithfully done by a group of enthusiasts just like us.
Id say that is quite good value when people are paying more than 200K for 911T's albeit very nicely done ones.Justin Reed

That's exactly what I'm building! - and maybe - looking back in 5 years time - this may have turned out to be the much cheaper way to go....
But when re-creating the famous #8, one should have known not to use the Porsche museum car as an example, as that one is the number 9 as we now know.
Refreshing to see a tribute that is not using the turbo flares though!
