    Stacked logo 350mm Momo Prototipo

My mate listed his uber rare 60s Prototipo on eBay and I said I'll share it on here for him.

Selling it to fund his 924 project, help him get it on the road!

Very nice. I have one of these in silver late '60's. Didn't realise it was valuable!

No did I. Are they really that valuable?

I preface this by saying I am no expert on early Momo values, but that is a lot of money for a steering wheel.

If I'm incorrect I'll eat plenty of humble pie!

I'm no momo expert but I know he's not the type to pull a figure like this out his rear end, he must have done some research regarding these before he listed that price - even though I do agree is way more than most logical people would pay for a steering wheel.

If you guys have seen any 350mm stacked prototipo listed previously at different price points please share them and I will relay theM over to him so he can adjust his price accordingly.

The 370's seem the better sized wheel in IMO. Also they seem to command a higher price on average. Flat versus dished also has an influence.

I may be a bit confused, I can find cheap 37cm Momo Prototipos with stacked logo, however now that I try, I cannot find cheap 35cm Prototipo with stacked logo, so it may have more value than I was suggesting, apologies.

well it appears I need to eat some humble pie then....sincere apologies for any offence or aggravation caused.

Will be interesting to see what it sells for.... or indeed if it (and all of the others) actually sells at all.

Its one thing to ask, and another to get... as we all well know.

Yeah I don't think Dom is expecting to sell it any time soon. He'll just have to wait for that guy with the period racer build that's "gotta have it" to complete his look.
