’69 to ’73 decklid for sale. In great straight and rust free condition. Holes for P O R S C H E lettering filled, but easily reinstated. See pictures for condition. **SOLD**.

That is not a 69-73 engine lid as can be seen by the curve in the frame on the passenger side

Think that curve started in 76 for extra room for the turbo or similar

It will of course fit a 69-73 car but is not factory correct

Would that also account for the fact there are no PORSCHE lettering holes drilled ?

Thanks Clyde - never noticed that before and I am grateful to have learnt something new (turbo curve)! I thought that the later lids were different in their fit, but it sounds like decklids from '65 to '89 fit 901's (but won't necessarily be factory correct). The licence plate light cutouts threw me too as this came off a US car and the lights disappeared in '74 from what I understand, and the holes look to be factory.

Happy to have this thread deleted if that's possible, and I'll repost in the non-901 section with a new price. I am just glad to have the correct decklid for my '66 now on my car
