    1978 Porsche 911 SC Targa - For Sale

    Hi All

    Listing here on behalf of my Father, please feel free to contact him on the number below if interested.

    Year: 1978.
    Model: Porsche 911 SC Targa
    Delivery country: C15 (Hong Kong).
    Chassis number: 9*****1384.
    Engine: 6***121 (matching original delivered).
    Factory colour: special wishes, listed as 'discretional'.
    Rims: 16 inch Fuch all dated 06/78. Original spare dated 2/78
    Factory Options:
    - 058 (impact absorption),
    - 422 (Blaupunkt Bamberg radio),
    - 461 (electric antenna and 4 speaker stereo),
    - 559 (air conditioning),
    - 568 (tinted windows),
    - 590 (power locking luggage compartment),
    - 651 (electric windows)

    My Father has had it 3 years during which time it has been maintained by Mark Poole. When purchased Mark went right through the car and did whatever was required.
    Prior to my Father's ownership, it was owned by a PCQ member in Brisbane and maintained by T&D and DHM. DHM did the gearbox and it feels brilliant.
    • Majority of factory tool kit
    • New tyres all round
    • Air-conditioning has been decommissioned
    • CD player w/Bluetooth now installed
    • New Lakewell carpet kit
    • New Lakewell sunvisors (not recommended, one clip has already broken)
    • Sports exhaust (sounds fantastic)
    • Performance brake pads and high temp brake fluid.
    Not a show car but a fantastic 'hop in and enjoy' car.

        Tom, I had a 944 Turbo (951) for a while along with a 944S2. I found turbo lag a bit of an issue with the 951. Handling and overall performance was great but if I was to buy another 944, it would be an S2. Such a great all-round car.

            Thanks for the feedback Phil. Being reminiscent of my boosted street racing days it is that lag/boost scenario I (we - Freudian slip) am longing

                Merv are you referring to the Blk Blk 944 S turbo .. And Keith Marie ... Sold within days of them listing it last year 40 plus by memory. If you have the nerve you could call marie ...

                    K&aM bought it for 25k. I spoke to the nice gent immediately prior to him selling to them, at that point I was Unfamiliar with the 944 turbo and didn't think they (944 S Turbo) were real. I think we all have similar stories...as it is Targa Carrera day I recollect fishcop renouncing a similar car , some years ago
