    WTB: Momo Steering Wheel

I bought a new toy last week, and the MOMO 'Race' steering wheel it came feels great, but its ugliness far outweighs everything.

I'll be reupholstering the standard wheel, but for now does anyone have a spare MOMO steering wheel they could sell me? A Prototipo or Monte Carlo would be perfect – but anything is better than this thing!

    Hi Vinny,

I have 350mm Abarth wheel sitting around doing nothing if you'd like to use that while you are waiting for a new wheel?

Tell us more about the new car, 944?

    Cheers,

    Harry.

Man that would be awesome! Only thing is, would it fit on the MOMO adapter?

      Thanks for the offer

The car is an Australian delivered '86 944 Turbo in a beautiful Slate Grey Metallic. Big k's, but the last two owners were fastidious and paid good money to maintain the car. If you come down on Saturday I'll make sure I bring it.

Thanks guys. It really is a nice car, the perfect daily driver.

It was a concours winning example when it was with the second last owner, the last one added some nice bits including the exhaust, adjustable konis and drilled brakes.

I'm going to keep it relatively stock, maybe a period Nakamichi stereo system for the Melbourne traffic and a strut brace and better sway bars to improve the handling. I just can't stand staring at this horrid steering wheel anymore...
