I'm after an original driving / fog light switch to go with my new purchase

Anyone have one or know where I can get one or even post a photo so I know what to look for....

Cam, I have one in the silver 72T but its a US style switch with differnt graphic (I think).

I dont have fog lights on this car at present so could probably live without the switch but will need to fill in the hole on the dash. Will look at it and take a pic and email it to you.

Gees Phil I have been trying to buy one of those on E Bay for months....Cam doesn't want it then I am coming over to rip it out of your car and I will find a rubber plug for you no charge!!!!

Cam, as Clyde says, it is a USA style switch which is different from the Euro switches. Pics of the US style headlight and fog light switches are below.

Got to find them first same size switches as we have in our cars....smaller than usa and has an orange lit centre if the lights aren't wired through the headlight circuit which they were a lot in Aust.

The part number you need for a 71 car is a one year part only specific to 71 (no one knows why however)

Its 901 613 504 01 for euro style. Looks like a rear window defogger switch complete with thin globe.

My Canadian contact was sending me some parts for my 69S including original clock, horns etc etc plus a correct fog light switch however he mucked up as the fog light switch he sent me is not for a 69 (thicker dash area to go through hence bigger and longer switch needed).

However he did send one with 901 613 504 01 on it.

How bloody lucky are you!!!! as they have been NLA for ages according to PCA.


I assume it works haven't put a meter on it. Its a two stage switch
