    WTB: 1973 911E Owners Manual

    Hello all,

I need to acquire a glove box, owner's manual for my 1973 911E.

As my car originates from France, the water deteriorated version I have is in French, and deteriorated it is!

Does anyone know where I may be able to find a suitable Australian replacement?

    Cheers

I stand to be corrected here but I think the Enlgish language version is universal for all markets. My manual which I assume to be orginal covers left & right hand versions.

Always a few on Ebay & I think Phil may have had some at one stage.

    Cheers

      Hi Cameron,

      Thanks for your response!

I thought I'd seen a 911E Owner's Manual pertaining to US based cars, so I wasn't too sure whether there may have been region specific manuals?

      Cheers

I was looking for one for my 70T a few years ago and came across a 68 manual, which had 'USA' printed in large font at the bottom right hand corner. Later I found one for a 70T which I then got, and I don't think it has USA on it. Can't check, car too far away. Some one else may have one more handy and can check. The USA specific label may have been part of the exhaust emissions kerfuffle in the USA around the late 60s, I don't know for sure.

Cam is right, these manuals do pop up on eBay from time to time, just need to be patient

If you want an Aussie worded one buy it from Porsche they sell NOS replicas these days. otherwise E bay and it will probably be in French as most Porsche manuals were produced in 4 languages I believe german, English, Italian and French certainly 73RS manuals were anyway.

            Thanks Clyde,

Will probably chase up a NOS Owners Manual from Porsche Australia

            Cheers
