You could try Greg O'Keefe at 356 Werks in Melb. He is a phone-only contact but has just retrieved from his storage a large number of early seats for 356's and I suspect SWBs.
I have one only in good condition but retrimmed years ago

I really do want to keep them as they go with the car, when eventually sold. They are not great to use, as others have said but 68 seats and door cards are tricky to find.

Surely you need the storage space Merv, just imagine what you can do with that extra 1m2.

Mine, like most, have been recovered at some stage in the past and may have lost the 'pleat' that some have I suspect, but otherwise they are yesr-correct I thought Chris. Some had head restraints and some didn't. Some 'elephant vinyl' and some didn't. I also seem to recall that there was a change mid year to the potential head restraint fitment (back vs top). Three screw hinges and correct knobs and bases.
These are useful benchmark sites I have used for 68's inc. seats:
I was not having a shot at your seats Merv but I understood Peters car was post mid year change to "in seat" headrests and the non split engine grille.
No worries Chris. Those links I posted are of nice original and one sympathetically restored 68 911's that may help Peter more generally as points of comparison for various 'special' 68 items.
DSC05571.jpg Thanks for the info guys, these are the original seats that were in my car when it lived in the US, the original seats were removed and aftermarket ones fitted in the UK.
