They look right Peter. Padding on the driver's seat looks a bit flat. Can't see the head restraint mounts however. The door cards are also correct (except for the speakers ...) . They are hard to get as 68 original. Mine (photo shows an original seat and the 'sports' seat) came from John Audette in the US, via Chris. The door 'pockets' are unique and can be easily refurbished with some new elastic and rivets 20150811_085729.jpg to tighten them up.

I know Peter has his door cards sorted, but while we're on the subject ... I saw a pic of some beige '68 door cards that Tony at Autobhan made up for a customer ... Exact, perfect replicas. Good option for anyone needing them in he future.

Peter , I have a later 68 912 and those seats in your pic look right but mine have internal type headrests . The basket weave inserts were buggered in mine so I replaced with correct option Year red black white inserts ( my car is red ! ) . I have a 67 912 coming and the seats look very similar to 68 but earlier 356 headrests and I have not checked the locking mechanism which is on both seats in the 68 . May be that is the difference as hard to tell when first looking at what the difference is .356 seats will work on my understanding . Good luck in your search .

What material are you using for the insert Peter?

Chris, I'm lucky that these seats are in very good condition so i don't have to change the centres. These seats will get a sympathetic restoration and only replacing whats needed. I will be replacing the padding.

So after 5 months I received my seats from Autobahn Interiors. Overall very happy with Tony's work. We retained the original vinyl centers as they were in great condition and new vinyl all around. Seats repadded, re chromed hinges, seat rails etc.
