Those guys at Pro Race Motorport are dreaming about prices, especially the 911R lights. They're just Hella trailer lights ! get em at Bursons.

I'm actually working on a small production run of Cibie style hood lights. I hope they will look very authentic, complete with the chrome trim ring. The lens will not be a match for the originals though.

These are some months away yet, and to be honest I have no idea what the demand will be like. I'm really doing them because I like them :-)

And yes, if I can't deliver them at a reasonable price ( I'm thinking sub $500AU a pair complete ) they won't make it into production.

at AU$500 a pair i would have thought you'd have a fair demand from the USA as well as here!

Craig, I'll certainly bite at $500 if they are pretty close to original to look at from 20 feet.

My car is more of a 'homage' to the era as opposed to replica or reproduction

As my cars are :-) I'd love a set of real Cibies but at US$1500+ for a reasonable condition set I think I'd be too scared of catching a rock and breaking one! I will have spare lens etc available too.

I'll keep you guys informed. Thanks for the feedback.
