    Wtb: 1969 911

    Hi folks,

New member here - please be gentle . I've had a 993 for a few years now and am looking to expand the stable to include a 1969 911. Would prefer something that hasn't been fully restored as I'm hoping to do some work myself. Happy to consider import but AU delivered preferred.

    Cheers,
    Gavin.

    Hi Gavin,
    welcome.
Good to see someone who knows what they want and have narrowed it down to one year.
Any reason why it has to be a 69...first lwb model (last of the 2lt's),birth year perhaps?
    Rgds,
    Sean.

        Gavin,

        Great combination.....I also have a 993 & 901. If you get tired looking for a 1969 & want to consider a 1971 I may be tempted....ha ha....good luck !!

        Cheers,
        Matt

Not RHD .. but it did belong to P Club Spain President ..

There are two I know of, one is an Aussie car matching numbers but requires full resto. The other is a runner so probably not as well suited to your buying brief.

Well I've finally put a deposit down on a Sept '69 built 2.2L "T". Needs some TLC before I get to bring her home, but I'm happy as a pig in mud.

                            Does that make it a 69 or a 70?

Technically a MY 70. It'll have the 2.2, trigger door handles, 5-bar grill etc... CAMS won't accept a post August 69 car as a Group Sb car either.

                              Congrats on your buy Gavin!
