    1973 911S 2.4 Targa for sale

A friend has decided to sell his Australian delivered 1973 Targa 911S 2.4 . One of only 4 delivered to Aus that year.
Purchased from Duttons many years ago it has a full service history and is in great original condition. 94,000 on the clock.
Fastidiously maintained. A couple of things to make it right, but a lovely car as the pics illustrate. Selling as he now rarely drives the car.
    Asking $320K. Neg.
If anyone has any interest PM me and I can forward the owners details. IMG_3880.jpgIMG_3883.jpgIMG_3878.jpg

Slight correction John one of 6 but the other 2 were sportos.

I have a very big soft spot for silver 73S Targas due to past experience.

Clyde, I can see if you bought this one, in no time it would be in pieces spread around your garage being meticulously detailed.
I am sure you would find more than "just a couple of things to make it right" as John has commented.

Fortunately Phil funds are all tied up currently it is cigarette price increase time soon but if it is still around in a little while
I will be all over it like a rash.

Yes I see seats need work, correct front bumper needed and correct bonnet badge, missing MFI hot air intake but the owner may have that.

Apart from those and the modern radio can't see much else in the pics we have.

Now that it has changed hands I can tell you what I saw at The All German day where I looked at the car with interest in buying

                    The good.

                    Had some original books.
                    Looked like reasonable bones
85 litre plastic tank still in situ
Was an Aussie S and one of only 4 manuals imported in Targa form so if you must have a 73 S here is one of the 13 Aussie cars to choose from (9 coupes)

The not so good now but most of it you could live with while you figured your next move.

                    1. Has incorrect rear 1/4's on both sides
                    2. Has incorrect front bumper
                    3. Had no sports seats which I am sure it would have been delivered with
                    4. Had incomplete door pockets
                    5. Had ordinary recover of dash, and door tops
                    6. Had virtually no tool kit and incorrect jack
                    7. Had the captive nuts for the battery straps ripped out of the front floor.
                    8. Side windows didn't even go close to matching the Targa roof or closing properly
9 Smoked a lot at idle and even more driving away at slow speed.

I am sure Duttons will address some or all of the issues and re market the car
