Wanted a set of 4 steel rims 15 x 4 1/2 to suit a 912. The 912 is a 1967 model, and any options considered painted or chrome, restored or unrestored.

If these are for Nick's car, Think he said Dec 67 build last when we spoke.
My 68 was built 22 Aug 67, it is a 68 model car.
I have some awesome fuchs for him!
Clyde may chime in as he recently purchased some correct date matched steel rims for Merv's old car.

What colour is it as I think some colours look better with painted and some look better with chrome

Bought a set of 5 stateside for $1100 USD

had them chromed stateside for $800 USD

Shipped to Aust at $550AUD for the 5

Add in the cost of swapping tyres to rims and balancing and no change out of $3200AUD plus the hubcaps for $500USD too.

Your 68 looks lovely with chrome wheels, maybe the darker colour makes them pop, the "wanted wheels" are for a light ivory 912.

Geoff - you said you're looking for 15 x 4.5's .... I think 15 x 5.5 was standard on '68 model 912 (as well as 911 - as per Clyde and Seans rims )
