WANTED - 1973 2.4 Fan housing and Black Engine Shroud

Wanted for 1973 911T 2.4L a better fan housing than the one my mechanic has sourced, and also a black Engine Shroud. as I would prefer an original black Engine Shroud instead of painting the yellow one I have currently.

Geoff, one option is send your fan & housing over to Mark Motshagen in Costa Mesa to get him to re-finish it for you. He'll fill all those corrosion pits, and clean it up nicely. It won't look exactly factory but it'll look very neat indeed. His turnaround time is normally 2-3 months but worth the wait.

Wow! Very nice. Is it powder coated? And any idea what it costs?

If your fan and housing isn't too bad you can hydro blast and then coat with Gibbs .... less than $200 - before and after below.

Nope not powder coated not sure how he does it but he can do many finishes

This was to replicate the ST look of mag fan outer he cut off the block for the distributor

From memory $450USD plus shipping both ways...but done a while ago so may be incorrect

Ben's suggestion is also spot on - I've done this on a few cars that had nice housings and they also look really good when cleaned up and rubbed with a bit of Gibbs Oil.
