Original 915 shifter for sale incl rubber boot

This shifter was out of my '72 911E when I replaced it with a Rennshifter years ago. It is in good condition and the ball joint is not too worn or sloppy. Comes with the original small rubber boot but no shift knob. I believe this suits 71 and 72 cars. The 73 used a larger shape shift housing which required a much larger rubber boot. Good ones of these are hard to find. $150.00 plus shipping or pickup in Melbourne (or can bring to AGM).

Hi Phil. How did you find the Rennshifter compared to the standard shifter?

The Rennshifter is a far more precise movement than a std shifter, especially if the old one is worn. I used to import and sell rennshifters and had a number of them on different cars. You always know which gear you are in and never miss a shift. I prefer them over a Wevo as they are a complete replacement, not just parts that you need to rettrofit to an existing shifter.
