Wanted Rear Bumper Bars 911 1973 Coupe

Wanted Rear bumper bars for my 1973 911T Coupe. My car is ready for paint, but the rear bars have about a day each of labour to repair to a decent standard. Hoping someone has rear bars that would be more "ready to go to paint"? I guess if no luck we will fix them...…..

Geoff my experience with this is to just take that extra day of labour. Any used bumper you get (and some repro ones) is likely to have its own ‘nuances’ which requires the repairers to do some work to get the fit right. In fact some old bumpers are downright awful to fit.
Best to deal with your known part.

Yes I had the same issue when putting my 73 panels back to original having sourced a pair of well used originals. A lot of hours of rework by the panel shop.

Agree having used the repro ones that never are quite right you are probably better in the long run with the ones that fit properly

Taken advice from the comments and the originals are being rebuilt, thank you all.
