FOR SALE 1969 911S
VIN 119300893
ENGINE 6391274
Delivered to England, invoiced 17/3/69
Original Colour 6808 Burgundy Red
Leatherette interior, no listed options.
Previous owner had car in Australia for more than 25 years.
He decided to rebuild the original motor for Group S racing.
He never completed the project.
I bought the car in November 2013 with 76,000 miles on the clock.
It had been repainted, but still did not have lights, seats or glass installed.
The engine and gearbox had been rebuilt and installed but not running.
Engine was blueprinted and balanced.
Fitted with Quaife LSD, up rated brakes and Weber carbs.
Under my ownership it has electronic ignition fitted, the ride height raised,
and roll cage removed.
The gearbox was removed and changed back to standard ratios.
The car comes with several boxes of parts such as heater parts, brakes,
rear seats, door cards and original MFI [needs rebuild]
This is the lightest production 911 ever built. [Except RS]
There are not many genuine RHD 1969 911S in the world.
Car now has 84,000 miles on it. My mileage has been country driving.
Although not a concourse car, it's a great car to use as a base for a full restoration.
Or just enjoy driving it like I have.
