I'm sure you know, but just in case, CarPoint make repops.

And the repros are accurate and good quality. Have used these before when supplying replacement seats where originals have been lost. I recommend the Carpoint ones to buying off ebay (if you can find any) which usually require full refurbishment and arent much cheaper than buying new ones.

Thanks Chris and Phil - I didn't know carpoint had them! I was trying to see if someone had them local before going to the web.

            Looks like I'm in luck.

            Got to love 901 forum!

Ben are you looking for the seat SLIDERS or the bracket/rail that bolts to the sill onto which you attach the seat sliders ?
This is a pic of the sill bracket that CarPoint supplies

Thats right Clyde but they will also fit onto earlier model car sills. Carpoint decided to repro the later design so it could be used on all models. When I visited Andreas (owner of carPoint) in his Karlsruhe warehouse a few years back we did talk about these due to my interest in seats and he mentioned this point. Anyway it seems the sliders that Peter had are the items he wanted. Its not uncommon when old Comfort seats have been removed that the top section of the seat sliders (rails) remain attached to the seat and the lower slider (rail) is left attached to the bracket on the sill (as per pic I posted) and also on the inner tunnel. These can often be very hard to remove because they use a shallow head socket head screw that are often rusted in and give very little grip for an allen key to undo. I usually soak them for a while in Penetrene to avoid having to drill them out to get the rails off.
