    1967 Porsche 912 for sale

    SOLD

It’s time to move along my Porsche 912 as I look to move house soon and reduce back to 1 car. I thought I'd start with the forum where I bought the car back in 2015 and that has been a part of the 912 experience for me.

As I understand, the car spent its early life in Hollywood and arrived in Australia in 1989 after which it was converted to RHD. It had two USA owners, and three in Australia (Sydney, Victoria and myself in Brisbane). The body was restored in the 1990's by Sheens in Lane Cove where it had rust repairs and 2-pack black paint (original colour is Polo Red). These older repairs had revealed themselves in the paintwork when I acquired the car, but don't worry the car looks great and attracts attention, particularly after the recent detail.

The engine was rebuilt in 1989 and, based on the former ad and my limited use, has approximately 15000 kms since. It has extractors, electronic ignition and of course a recent service and tune by Dion (Tarz) and has never run as well in my 8 years of ownership.

I recently installed a Lakewell squareweave carpet set and refinished the headliner to have it looking great inside. It also has a Wevo shifter and GTS classic seats making it a easy drive (once use to the dog leg 'box). The car has a set of recently polished 15" fuchs wheels.

I have the original sales brochures and history on paper, and most of my ownership is catalogued electronically and will of course be provided to the buyer.

The car has QLD registration and a current safety/roadworthy certificate.

The price is $xx,000 ONO and will be sold from Brisbane.

    Thanks, Steve
