    WTB window winder knob

I just accidently ripped mine off and the plastic has completely spilt!

Does anyone have a spare floating around?

I am not sure if they are universal or different between the various years.

I replaced my old split ones last year - Pelican sells them, about $15 AU each... http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...pg2.htm#item10

      Are these good quality repros?

It looks like what is on there may have been newer repros and I dont want to get something which is going to fall apart again.

Maybe the post should have read something like:

          Knob Broken

Can no longer get it up

Require replacement as hand is now hurting

Had the same problem last year. Rather than replacing the entire handle at $140 each from Porsche, I found a conbination of a small plastic knob plus another rubber one almost identical in shape and design from the bins at Clarke Rubber. Cost less than $4. take your handle with you to test fit them.

              Hi Ed

The Pelican ones are identical (maybe original?), the only difference is that rather than a 'rivet', a screw is used to fasten the knob to the shaft (there you go Rich, a nice entendre for you ).

John is spot on. I did mine on the black T a few months back and they are great. Pelican will post them here in a few days. Then you can twiddle your know until the cows come home..
