I might say, to the defence of those cutting open exhausts... I have a very good although somewhat second hand muffler that has had the same trick done to it.... and I have a sneaking suggestion it may have been done by the same bloke (RC ??) ...... I haven't had a dyno, but at the moment its working rather well....
Interesting to see what it sells for ??

your/my muffler is ok tigesy. its a workhorse, been ridden hard and put away wet, yet still delivers!
HR did the welding (AM, thus pre red wine). i sourced the correct type of muffler to start with and where to put the outlets.Comment
