    Steering wheel & advice

Looking for protipio (spelling ?) wheel and boss. Where could i find one and what is reasonable price?. Also looking at bonnet and engine lid straps. My car is a 73 build G series backdated to 73S body by Jason at Chequered flag, so originality is not an issue. Would adding straps affect value ? And is there a style/ type of strap in keeping with the 73 period? Help appreciated, thx.

    Ebay is the best...

Fortunately for me it was one of many things I bought when the exchange rate was approaching parity.

Pelican has the Prototipos and bosses new... today's rate is 72c

Otherwise I believe Ryan (Obrut) keeps a collection of such treasures... maybe he'll part with one?

Yes front are larger than rears. The site URL I posted has both sizes available.

But dont die at the price (I mean, die laughing !) Guys on ebay sell them for US$75 /pr. I think they cost around $7.00 ea ??

Go for the ones wiht S/S hardware rather than plated steel if they are still available . Wont rust out.

That would be great Andrew. May be in Syd in the next two weeks , otherwise could organize postage. I assume all bosses are the same or similar?

Tiger, don't you have a tasteful wooden steering wheel stashed somewhere?
