Have you got a photo of what you're after - I'll dig through my crap.

John The strap is made up of 3 parts:

            1. Strap
            2. Bolt
            3. Small section of rod with thread tapped into it to make the nut end.

The bolt goes through the strap at one end and into the rod/nut at the other.

It's the nut part in the photo that I'm after .... Perhaps it's not an original strap ??

              Ah Andrew,

I think the ones I have are different. I have to go up to Dural to take a look.

I'll see if I can get up there this week.

Hmm, that would be pretty easy to mill up. But I don't have one

or pick up a proper one at the dealer whilst you're getting our bonnet stickers?

Oh I thought you were going to the dealer, as I got the last set, if I recall correctly.

                          Tiger,

You borrow one of mine... on an old muffler I have in the garage... you could perhaps have it copied / fabricated.

                              Ok Andrew,

I've been up to the workshop and I have three. One of the same type as you have and two of a different type, that are arguably stronger. I am away this weekend, but happy if you want to take a look next week. If you want the strap complete, the same as yours, I'm sure a beer next time we catch up will do the trick.
