Hmmm, I'd like a 912. I'm due to make my annual visit to a certain Brisbane backyard shed and bother the owner to sell his collection... again. Maybe this will be "the year".

It's the father of a friend... He has a big old barn. Ten years ago when I was looking for my current car, a work mate uttered the words "Oh I think my dad is storing a couple of old Porsches".

I went to have a look and sure enough there were two 356 and an Oz delivered rhd 68 912 sans engine. The owner of the cars moved away to Canada and hadn't paid his storage bill. Mate's dad went to court and got an order to "pay or forfeit". Bill wasn't paid and the cars are now owned by mate's dad...

He's a classic "horder" and reckons he'll restore them one day So anyway, I go around every 12 months and pester him
