2.4 'S' Long Block

Well further to the previous thread the motor is now for sale.

Asking price is $4500 for the bare long block based on a 7R case including the dizzy that was refurbed a couple of years ago and also the engine oil cooler (which are $1800 new ).

I am happy to answer any questions, and for people to speak to Mark Poole once the car is at his workshop in about 2 weeks. It would be a good idea perhaps to speak with me first and I can then let Mark know to expect a call.

Forgot to mention also includes carb manifolds.

Also noticed that I have an 'E' rotor so the thing has not seen over 7100rpm during my ownership!

Never had to touch it other than regular oil changes and valve adjustments.

Faithful servant deserves a good home....

Given the value of matching numbers some of you should think of shelving your original engines

Well I think I have a buyer but out of interest the leakdown numbers were:

1. 2%
2. 3%
3. 3%
4. 3%
5. 4%
6. 3%

Oil pressure at idle 15psi. At revs 90 psi.

Pity I can't aford to have both engines
