    1972 911 E Australian delivery For Sale

    Hi Guys
I have decided to sell my 911 E. I was looking to import it to Switzerland but due to work comments and salted roads will not have time to drive it more than once or twice a year.
It is in unbelievable original condition having only covered 73,000 miles with one owner. The car has an interesting history, full Porsche service and comes with documentation of everything that has ever happened to it, including the letters negotiating the sale from Hamilton's . It has spend last 17 years off the road in a garage until undergoing a full restoration which has just been completed.
I commissioned the restoration and have never had it registered in my name.
The asking price is 200k and will only suit the true Porsche purist.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions by email or call +447896 313 230, don't worry about the time difference I am happy to take calls at anytime.
Alternatively if you would like organise a viewing in Melbourne please call Jason Henderson on +61 424 137 787

        Ho Paul,

I know this car and have observed its resto taking place. I believe you are being quite optomistic with the price in this current market but it would be great to see you sell it at this price. Good luck with the sale.

          Hi Phil

It was hard to put a price on the car as i couldn't find or haven't seen another example like it. If you see it again please let me know what you think.

          Thanks and kind regards

That's Larry McFarlane's car - he is also a member on the board.

Paul, your car looks fabulous! Larry's car is probably a good litmus for the market as it is indeed a superb AU delivered original S.

                Cheers

Last sale I know of relates to Tony Caros original 40,000 mile 73E as good as it gets and he got $115,000 from memory and then I think (not 100% sure) got $165,000 for his 73S so I am with you on that view Phil.

I have never seen an Aussie E that didn't have S trim which this clearly does not.

I also hope he gets it though

I understood it to be an Aussie ordered but Stuttgart tourist delivery car which was then driven around europe for a while before shipping back home.

Trim on the car is quite plain as are the steelies although these give it a certain period charm.

                    Market will decide.

                      Hi Guys
Thanks for the words of encouragement, input and the price comparison.
You are all welcome to come and have a look. Feel free to contact Jason, he is a friendly chap.
Yes, Phil you are correct the car was a tourist delivery and the market will decide as it always does.

                      Kind regards

                      Paul
