and congrats, I think you take the prize as youngest member... (unless you take mental age into account, in which case you might be challenged by Mr Upwey ).
No, the other spares are for sale separately.
The wheels are very strange, the engine is strange, the whole thing came from Japan as it is, he tried to turn the rebuilt engine over by hand but it would not move and found a nut had been dropped down the inlet, and went on to discover the bearings had not been installed on the intermediate shaft. So the engine requires splitting to discover other points of interest. mmm. Very careless. It has supposedly not been started, fingers crossed. The original colour is Irish Green farbton (6606) colour code 213, very nice.
Indeed, it looks like you scored a very cheap car. I hope the engine problems are not major, because, as Rich notes, 911 engine rebuilds are not cheap if you get someone else to do it.
Will the car be only used for the track or will you try to road register it ?

Hi,
I would like to get it road registered so my family can fit in it, my other car is a 1970 914/6. My daughter will still be quite small for a few more years to be able to fit in the back.
I have previously built a vw engine and would love to get my head around a 911 motor but there is the fear of total engine destruction in the back of my mind. It would be nice to drive it and be able to say, I built the noisy thing in the back though. Can anyone please tell me about their success/failure/horror stories.
Also does anybody know anything about the engine that porsche classics has for sale. Its the 2.0L with MFI on it. History/KMs/issues/etc. Its a nice concept of plug in and play but I don't like to pay for other peoples problems.
Info on other engine options anyone else has around?
thanks. Kris.

I've just changed my motor over. The old motor was a 2.2 I think, Spencer from Harrisons RRR did the change over for me. He has all the details (compression test, condition, etc) about the motor if you want to call him. 0397581411.
