Hi Matt. you may have noticed that the white car and the black car that Richard mentioned are at the same dealer. I can not comment on either car as i have not seen them but i did have a look at a back dated 964 that he had a couple of years ago. The description of the car did not reflect its presentation, not even close. The history of some other cars that i saw there was also quite questionable . All just my opinion at the end of the day. I don't think there's any doubt that you get what you pay for with our old cars...
Doesn't mean there isn't a bargain and many happy years in a cheapie LHD, but you need to have planned the project and decided on what you're after.John Forcier

Thanks for the input guys....despite being out of space & funds I'd love to find myself another pre-73' !! I suspect however that Johns comments are on the money & I better just save my gold coins for a while.....Matt Read
