They belong to a club member confirmed as correct pre 74 7" wheels however cracked.
I am no expert but thought once they had cracked that was it, perhaps an email to Harvey Weidman the wheel guru in the USA is in order to determine if they are repairable. I'll send the email today.Clyde Boyer

Yes, these 2 wheels are mine - now for sale on ebay.
I have not had a chance to contact Harvey re repairing cracked wheels.
I am in Melbourne, so if anyone is interested in them they can certainly inspect them during the day (St Kilda rd) or over the weekend in the eastern suburbs.
Worse case scenario (unable to repair cracks) is that one of the wheels is fine and the other one is worthless.Damian Royce

I've got a spare cracked 8" which my dad will be attempting to fix for me... He is an oil rig welder with access to the high end alloy welding gear and x-ray equipment. He intends to x-ray it before trying to fix... something about the metalurgy changes in alloys over time/stress which often makes it pointless to fix. But I'm hopingJohn Forcier

Harveys reply.....
Clyde,
If the cracks are at the end of the spoke triangle area, then they are not a good candidate for repair. Many have welded these for the painted center cars and used them for shows only. They are not worth as much as regular 7s.Clyde Boyer
