    Proper repro gear knob

Am buying a 5-speed 901 repro gear knob from Alan, Canford Classics. Same place as the engine stickers. Would like t know if anyone else wants one - can then organise a group buy.

Andrew Vidier I think recently bought one so can chime in on quality.

I bought one a while ago from Alan and had a quick look when it arrived. Looked pretty good to me but I'm a bit of a newbie to these cars so can't offer any comment on comparisons to original.

very very good ...I couldnt tell the difference. Hugh H also got one. I checked with him before i bought mine...he was similarly pleased.

Remember you still have to buy a crush sleeve from Porsche locally (about $8)

            price 63 pounds

            hi

Alan quoted a price of 63 pounds plus postage if 5 bought or more let me know if there is interest and I will organise.

He can also produce a 4 speed if anyone need it.

You can count me in. Gotta get my shifter chromed, and don't like my chances of getting the 40+ old knob off without damage.

You might be surprised its only held on by the crush sleeve so firm rotational prsssure should see it give way OK

Hi received my 901 knob - have to say they are well made though plastic feels a little different.

There was not enough interest at the time for a group buy (5) - but given the amount of interest in the engine bay decals then Alan might be persuaded to offer a better price on the knobs at the same time.
