Pretty sure I've go mine stashed near by... It was stiring the old sporto so the lever itself I think is ever so slightly different (there's some flex to activate the g/b micro-switch) from a manual. I know the base is identical though. So you could replace the sporto shift shaft with a manual shift shaft.

I have one that looks as if it would clean up quite well. The chrome shaft and rubber boot look fine but no gear knob.
