Michel, why the need/want for the short shift?
I have put a few guys onto the cheap upgrade kit that allows you to have a very strong lock out on 1st gear/reverse.
I use it in my race car with the standard throw and it is great.
I know a few of the other guys on the board have it in their car also.Alex Webster

hi alex what is the cheap upgrade kit you mention? can you send some details. have been driving a friends E lately and while i like the buttery smooth feel to my newly built box the E has a tighter precision which I prefer.
phil the Rennshift is tempting but have been a little extravagant with my car spend recently - do you do 'lay away'

Hi Michel
I haven't forgotten about you! The car should be heading back to Adelaide from Melbourne this week so it will be 2-3 weeks or so before I will have the car. I'll keep you posted.
Cheers
