        It's got a door pull on the driver side and none on the passenger side so it could well have started life as a leftie

          Is actually a 71 model
          Engine is correct type 2.2l but non matching from 1970

            Conversion can't be too bad as they have got the heater controls in the correct spot for a RHD and hardly anyone does that

                  I like the idea of an early conversion for two reasons:

                  1. Good chance correct panels were available and used (as in heater control section)

                  2. Plenty of time for problems to show up

                    That was what made me initially question whether it was a factory RHD.

                    Seems a reasonable price.

                      earlier conversions seem alot better, in the 70's the workmanship of the conversion was very strictly scrutinized to get an engineers certificate, this practice went by the wayside somewhere in the 80's, like alot of other stuff...
