    Wanted left side arm rest suit 71T

    Hi if anyone happens to have a left side door arm rest to suit a 71T be mighty appreciative. what was the factory thinking

    let me know.

    cheers michel

    FWIW, you could have some trouble. The left armrest on a RHD car is highly desirable in the LHD market as it is a 'factory' door pull for the driver. So they can be hard to get (even in a RHD market) as the US/Euro guys have snapped them up.

      Available as new reproduction from Einmelag (spelling could be wrong)

      Porsche Classic will be doing them again this year sometime but don't hold your breath

                Try the DDK forum and see if any Brits might have a spare?

                    I straightened one a few years ago using G clamps and wood splints and heating it in an oven to 70ºc for several hours...

                      Hey John, is this the same kitchen oven which doubled as a paint oven? How many car parts have you had in there?

                        Same one

                        I've promised her a new one in a forthcoming kitchen reno... Then it can come downstairs and perform powdercoating duties

                          Have you put the dishwasher to good use yet, apparently works a treat on engine parts...
