WTB Blower/Heater control cables

Investigated why the controls to direct the fresh air and heat between windscreen and footwell were not rendering the expected results. Turns out the cables had broken near the controls.

I can't seem to find a part number for these Bowden cables, and a search on Pelican and Sierra was unsuccessful. Can anybody suggest a source for these? Could a bike shop be a possibility? Any idea specifically what type/size of Bowden cable these are?

Or should I look at second hand?

Anybody tackled this before?

I've got a complete heater control 'console' from a later LHD car - all wiring and cables are present. I recovered it from the wreck I used for my resto. I'll compare it to the correct original unit which is also out of the car. My gut says they're pretty much the same, but will check.

Gimme a day or two and I'll get some photos.

They are aviation grade cables, and can be found at aviation supply shops.

If the outer shield is O.K. You can get a replacement from a bike shop, that is if Johns LHD one doesn't work.
