For Sale - 1971 911E Coupe
Factory RHD car and a genuine E model with a non-matching numbers 2.4 E engine in it.
Since buying the car In April it has had a bit of money spent on it to sort out a few niggly things.
I'd consider this to be a decent driver condition car that offers a good entry into 901 ownership.
Selling because I capitulated and bought a LWB but it hasn't satisfied my SWB desire .
Interior
- In overall good condition.
- Dash is in good condition and isn't cracked in the usual spot at the speaker.
- Intertia seatbelts in the front, brand new lap belts in the rear with kids seat mount points installed.
- Tan standard seats with peanut headrests.
- All electricals work, including the sunroof and electric windows.
- All factory tint glass is in good condition.
- Aftermarket radio installed.
- Steering wheel leather needs to be redone.
- No door pockets
Body/Exterior
- Ivory repaint, however paint tag suggests it was originally Albert Blue (1818L).
- Front pan has been replaced at some point and is solid.
- Rust in the underside of the doors. This appears to be the worst area of rust on the body.
- Fibreglass S bumper. (I do have a standard front bumper in good condition, that the purchaser can have first right of refusal on)
- It has a 72-73 decklid grille with the 2.4 badge on it.
- Genuine deep 6 Fuchs all round (no curb rash), brand new Yoko C drive-2 tyres on the rear(195-65-15) and (not new) Bridgestone Grid II's on the front (195-60-15).
Engine/Trans/Mechanicals
- 901 5 speed trans. Shifts well with no issues.
- 2.4 E engine, compression checked out fine with I had it PPI'd back in April. Plenty of power, and sounds fantastic!
Happy for PPI to be done on it, and also happy for serious potential buyers to contact the mechanic that did the PPI for me to discuss the findings.
Can provide further pics upon request. Car is located in Eltham, Vic
$35k obo. Vic reg until April 2013.
