WTB: rear wiper switch and 2.4E badge

    hi all

i'm looking for a couple of bits and pieces for my new 73 2.4E

    1. push/pull switch for the rear wiper
    2. 2.4E badge for the engine grill

nb: i'm not going all concoursey on you i promise...

Ring our sponsor Aporschapart they will have them probably if not I am sure the 2.4 badge is available at Porsche. There is no E on the grille just the 2.4 Ryan.

      Ryan,

my 72E had a rear wiper and I think still has the original push-pull switch under the dash. At least I think it was the wiper switch.

Will take a pic and post to see if its what you need.

there is still the 911E badge on the engine lid dead centre just below the grille though. Is that what you mean?

phil - thanks, that would be great

tony - i have the 911E and PORSCHE on the rear lid, but the 2.4 on the grill has been HPC coated completely black. i think the 2 and 4 numbers should be silver. i may try stripping the coating but suspect that will destroy it.

2.4 badge you can buy off Pelican - I bought a 2.7 badge off them a couple of years ago for my 77.

Edit: They don't have it actually.

You have to pay big bucks for custom numbering - not worth it.

Rear wiper push pull switch part number 90161304300 available from Pelican parts for $32USD, sounds cheap to me.
                  cheers

If you're going to put a big muffler on it... at least get an Arbarth like I have on the green car.

i'd love to find a period muffler like your abarth - they seem pretty thin on the ground though.
